ABOUT SYDNEY

Sydney Kerr has been actively riding horses since she was three years old. She grew up riding both English and Western. She participated in the United States Pony Club (USPC) from age nine to age sixteen and completed certifications up to the C-2 levels in both riding and horse management. She has competed in Hunters, Equitation, and Medals since she was twelve years old. In Sydney’s college career, She was a key founder of the Northern Arizona University (NAU) Equestrian Club, serving as President and then Vice President from 2016-2018; She was a Working Student/Summer Intern at Happy’s Dream Ranch in Prescott, Arizona the summer of 2016; and after transferring to Arizona State University (ASU) she competed as an Intermediate level rider for the ASU Equestrian Club on their Varsity Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) Team for the 2018-2019 season. She has extensive trail experience that has taken her through obstacles such as: standing water, rivers, mountains, desert, and long hours in both English and Western saddles. She is able to handle horses and mules on the trail both mounted and unmounted. For fun, Sydney enjoys trail riding, competing in Hunter/Jumper shows, and spending time in the barn.
